A startup in northern Greece has created a robot that will soon be helping farmers carry out all sorts of agricultural tasks - and take Greece one step closer to getting to grips with smart agriculture.

Terra Robotics is a Greek company based in Kilkis and active in the development of technologies that contribute to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector .
Greek innovation ecosystem were described - among others - by Andreas Pollner, managing director of Bayer Hellas/ Cluster Division Head Pharma S., mentioning also the example of the cooperation with the company "Terra Robotics".
They believe that the future of agriculture is passing through artificial intelligence and want to contribute with their strengths to this transition. That's why they decided to develop an easy-to-use autonomous electric robot that will soon be able to help farmers with field work, saving them time and money and allowing them to produce high-quality organic products using smart technologies. After all, smart and green agriculture is their vision.
